SUSPECTED MACHINERY THEFT PICKUP RECOVERED
Whilst NAVCIS officers were assisting Derbyshire’s Rural Crime Team on a pre-planned operation on the M1 motorway on April 26th, a cloned pickup truck (see image below) valued at £9,000, was stopped and examined.
It was found to be a 2015 model, that had been stolen from Leicestershire in 2021. The vehicle is suspected to have been used in burglaries relating to machinery theft.
Investigations are ongoing.
